Onkyo Dual Screen Netbook Hands on at Computex 2010

August 3rd, 2010

www.netbooknews.com The Onkyo DX1007A5B dualscreen netbook has been around for a while, but for some reason everyone acts like its new everytime it makes an appearance. We actually did a hands on a CES, also at the Microsoft booth as the Onkyo seemed to alternate with the Kojinsha for the dual screen that was on display. This bizzare little mobile computing device has two 10.2-inch display with resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels. We would be writing home to mom if it had touch screen, but its still pretty cool. It is powered by a AMD Athlon Neo processor, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, and Windows 7 Home Edition.

ViewSonic VNB101 netbook hands on video

June 6th, 2010

www.netbooknews.com An exclusive hands on video with the ViewSonic VNB101 netbook straight from the press conference. It’s a very slim and light-weight design with a li-polymer battery. It has borrowed some of its design from the Asus Eee PC S101, as most of the ports are around the back. The model in the video even has a built in 3G modem, but we don’t know if the shipping models will feature this.
