Many households nowadays have either PCs or laptops, used for work, recreation or both. You would probably spend the same amount for peripherals and accessories, regardless if you are using a desktop or a laptop. But if you live in a small space, a laptop is the better choice, since it is a self-contained unit that has less wires and hardware.
